Nc29 rear and front wheel question
Hello all, new to the forum and have a question about nc29 wheels, as standard the nc29 has 17" rear wheels, will the nc23 18" rear wheel fit the nc29 with modifications? I have read that the nc29 will fit the nc23 but can't find anything about swapping the other way. Also I believe it's a straight swap on the front wheels nc23 to nc29 but will brake calipers meet the discs properly?
Thanks in advance
Luke

Re: Nc29 rear and front wheel question
Front should be a straight swap but why would you want to put an 18inch rear on an nc29 .????

From what I understand is that it will improve handling (turning) plus I prefer the look of 3 mag wheels to 5.

Stick with the standard wheels as you'll have a much wider tyre choice. If you want to improve the handling of your bike invest in a decent rear shock and uprate the internals of your forks.

Ok standard it is then, time to do the extra shifts to get a new shock.
Thanks

Not entirely accurate . A good bunch of tyres come in the 17 inch im sure but there is Dunlop with the GPR range which is a great tyre and comes in the 18 inch 150 or 160 size.

I dont know where the OP is from but the GPR's are not available in the UK. The only sticky option in an 18" is the BT90, which is a great tyre but a bit long in the tooth.
A 17" rear wheel will increase your choices greatly, especially when it comes to sticky tyres made with 'new' technology.
