Rode my second track day, lap time has improved by 36 seconds and my knees clipped the deck  .... Also annoyed some guys on big bikes .... As I passed the around the outside  ( they annoy me on the straights :P )

After grinding to a halt on thursday and almost leaving me stranded, I've replaced both my old battery and questionable reg-rec for new items.

Battery was reading 11.8v at idle the other day and when revved reached 13.05v but it hasn't been right for a while. I rather suspect the tired battery has pulled and pulled the reg-rec finally killing it with the scorch mark in the centre being it's final goodbye..

New ones seem to be working well so fingers crossed I won't have any more woes.. For a bit at least!

Took my carbs off and took them apart for a clean/check what's in there. Also found restrictor washers in the carbs so removed them too

Yesterday I went on two easter egg runs, both without police escort so got stuck at many traffic lights whilst the bike boiled my balls.

After we went for a razz round some awesome roads and I scared myself a bit, but the bike didn't miss a beat

Haha yeah, it was going to happen though, I was chasing 3 dudes on bigger bikes!

They eventually buggered off into the distance but I was only a minute behind them, didn't know the road either.

I was having a blast with my mate on his Buell X1 last thurs and it was a riot. We were both going rather well! At least before my batt / reg-rec fried. His bike mauled me out of the bends and on the straights but both bikes were very well matched through the corners. I'm proud to say I was never far behind. Thats why I love these little Hondas!

Took it for a 120 km ride, the 9,4 kg lighter bike works fantastic!

Changed spade connectors on reg/rec to new block connector. Nice. I'm one for the big jobs me.
