85Coupe,

These bikes are old and likely to have a few parts swapped over from newer models, i.e. a later model NC30 shock on your '89 and a 17" wheel on your '93(?) which could be an after market one or off an RVF, VFR750F, etc. Does the shock on your '93 look like a stock one? It could be an after market one or one off an early NC30. The exhaust, again, is likely to be aftermarket full system.

Cheers, Matt

This. The number of completely standard NC30's must be pretty small by now.

I see, i didst realise the wheels where interchangeable between models.

Live and learn.

Thanks.

just to clarify, a 17" wheel from an RVF400 will fit an NC30 without modification, but the others will require some hard work.

Correct Jim?

That's correct mate, the NC35 and MC28 rear wheels are the only ones (afaik) that will fit without modification. Other 17" wheels like the VFR750, RS250 and the Bros 400 will fit with modifications.
