I'm with Sunnyday, side/park lights are for when you're parked IMO. Headlights on whenever I ride…. and when I drive on the open road.

I've been thinking of putting (making) led sidelights in my car because one has blown and there a right game to get at, but dunno if the bulb fail unit would detect it or think it still has a blown bulb, wonder if any of you guy have tried it on a car?

it depends on your car if its quite new it will think the bulbs blew with the led only needing a tiny voltage and might as you say put a bulb out warning on your dash do some research thats the only way
