To be honest I wouldn't use anything other than VHT paint.

I've used it on both front and rear discs and rear caliper, it's fantastic. Good prep, a good few light coats and a proper bake in the oven and it's rock solid.

Also any suggestions on the primer needed mate as I would have thought that would have to be high temperature also... Thanks for the reply ;)

You don't need a primer for the VHT stuff, it's a straight on jobby.

The instructions for the baking are on the tin

With the CBR shock you need to shim either the top or bottom mount (sorry cant remember which), cut off the rear coil mount on the subframe, chop away part of the battery box and move the battery up. Being only 10 stone you maybe ok but you might find it a little soft without fitting a harder spring.

Thx munky... Would facing the battery front to back and fibreglassing the cuts be a better option mate... Sorry question mark dont work on my keyboard...
Where would you suggest I put the coil mount on the subframe after mate.. Also could you help with finding some pics or more info for me as when I try to search for something on here I can never find it mate...
I do remember seeing a thread where somebody had done this some time ago and there was a few pics but I cant seem to find it now I have bought the shock... Also gutted as I have been told I should have bought the s1000rr shock for about the same price as I paid for the cbr one ... Ahh well commited now lol...
Cheers Anthony (chuckles)..
