eBay 'specials' and other junk finds

A place to bang on about subjects close to your heart that affect us all as 400cc riders. general banter is rife, however rudeness and abuse seem to be the norm, If a bit wet round the ears best go play elsewhere. Auto pruning of items 31 days and older

Its interesting, but no air box on it, crank breathers off makes me worried about the engine internals depending on how its been stored. Brakes, fork seals and a few other little bits is nothing to worry about but the lack of chain is somewhat puzzling, plus with no fuel lines how was the engine run? I'd be asking the seller a few questions about that. Paint work isn't to bad from a distance but most areas need attention and the tank dent make it look as if it was leaned on something so budget for paint. The thing that does make me wonder the most is the bent clock surround, very odd place for damage to that and nothing else.

That said at its current price that looks a good project for someone. Usual surface rust and bits that will need replacing or adding (pillion foot peg, seat cover, indicators), but if the engine starts and sounds good with a little work that should make someone very happy.
