GK76a No spark
Hi All, after rebuilding the 400 I've been having fun and thought I was on the final stretch of fairing assembley after my rebuild. I completely rewired the bike with mainly new connectors and wiring and thought the bike was fine after the work. It was started and I left it running as I wanted to get the bike up to temp to check the fans. I have two of these bikes now and one was being used as a spare/donor to keep my other on the road. The info on this site has been valuable but until I can get home next week I can work on the bike. So my question is to those that may know the bikes inside out is what item failing could cause the no spark condition I am experiencing? The CDI is fine as I have tried the two working items I have. I know they both work as checked before the bike died. The bike was running happily then after around 15 minutes of ticking over just died. There is no spark and as it was getting dark the last time I checked it I left it so its been a few days and I'd like to go at the issue with more info when I come to tackle it. Thanks for the help in advance and hopefully someone can help. I'm a mechanical and electrical engineer by trade so if someone can point me in the direction of an issue they think it may be I'll take a good look when I can next get to my bike. I really want to get the bike sorted and keep another on the road so thanks for reading.

Re: GK76a No spark
I do think its the pick up but I cant test till I'm back at home and if it is I have a donor part so hopefully thats the issue. Could the fault be caused by any other faulty item?
