Re: My wardrobe.....
Indeed........ didn't quite expect the amount of work this is going to take, mostly butchery by the previous owner....jo wrote:It's been Tyga'd! What do you expect!

Anyway, some more pics of another bike awaiting treatment, started this last autumn...........
The Norman B2S:

1956, older than me.............

Has one of these, 197cc version:

Crankcase cleaned up and blueprinted:

Supposed to look like this but mine is in blue and has a dual seat, can't find a decent picture of the same bike anywhere.... only mine is in a thousand pieces, although, there might not actually be a thousand pieces in the 5 boxes this came in.....

Some nice photo's you have there, like Jo says most 30's that have had the Tyga treatment have been butchered to buggery. Will be following your progress with it.

Re: My wardrobe.....
The 350B is in pretty good order now, took some work. I've owned since it was nearly new, written it off, raced it in F2, left to rot, restored, got damp under the winter covers and had to be tidied up again about 5 years ago.....willandrip wrote:350 B is mint.

The 250A engine is going into a rolling chassis I bought many years ago to finish up the restoration of the 350 as I needed the mudguards and various other chrome bits off it. I have since acquired some reasonable chrome parts and this engine, so the lot can go together to have a run-about. The only real difference between the A and the B models are the cylinder heads, the later B had a heavier (more sturdy and less prone to cracking) head with long reach plugs.
