Clutch problems Still nc30
right first off here's the facts. The thing the clutch cable move's which in turn pushes the push rod was sticking and the fact the cable was fooked didnt help.So this in turn cocked up the steel plates bluing them.Only in 2nd gear did it slip and at 2 points in the rev's (when the power jumped the most)9k and 11k.Now i have replaced the friction plates and steel plates but it still does it,But not nearly as bad(you have to be harder on the power).Looking at the haynes and after speaking to my mate could it be the or clutch springs ?

10/40 elf motorcycle oil and the cable is fully sorted now. What was happening was the cable was on its way out and the fact that the spring that pushes the push rod,the bearings had collaslped thush the clutch was sticking and cooked the steel plates.Ive spoke to a guy at the local shop and he reckons it could be the clutch springs.Am trying to sort out all pos problems as ive had it apart about no fewer than 10 times ! and its doing my nut in

you can buy individual clutch diaphragm springs from Rick Oliver on here - get a new one stuck in and go from there. I run 4 springs nad although I had a little session of clutch slip in a new clutch it has gone away..
