NC24 Stainless Exhaust

Post by Cherad »

Hi all, new to the forum and restoring an NC24. Of course the collector needs some serious attention and I'd like to replace the whole system with stainless to prevent future problems. David Silver Spares is out of stock of their stainless parts and so is Motad. I'm contacting both to see if they can get some in but neither have end cans in any case.

Does anyone know of a current source for NC24 exhaust systems?

Contact 'RCV4' on here, he might be able to help you.

Having the rear downpipes welded to the collector on the original part is a huge pain, so I'm hoping the stainless systems with separate downpipes will make life easier. Plus I couldn't find any original parts in good condition anywhere!

I know where there are a few NC24 exhausts in decent condition, I can send you some more information if you want?

It's not really a huge pain. Only should you need to take the sump off or remove the exhaust.

Both of which are actually done quite rarely.
