Dumb gear lever question
Dumb question I know but how does the rod come off the gear lever is there a circling or does it just pull off somehow? I've tried pulling it but don't want to break it (I can be a bit ham fisted)
Thanks in advance

Re: Dumb gear lever question
It should twist off. Undo the two locking nuts at each end and rotate the bar, one end is a right thread and one end a left thread, so it'll either do up or undo both ends at the same time.
That's what the NC30 one does anyway, I think it's the same.

I think you mean the ball and socket section of the link - I think its press fitted because I gave up on it - worrying I would break mine too

Re: Dumb gear lever question
The easiest way to take the gear hang off is at shaft. Mark the shaft end and gear change so you know where to put it back on. Undo and remove the pinch bolt and then tap a flat blade screwdriver in to open it up. Jiggle the gear change off keeping it level or it will bind onto the shaft.
To adjust the angle of the pedal undo both the locknuts on the rod then rotate the rod and you'll see it pedal go up or down then tighten the locknuts.
