I need help about exhaust!
Hi all!!!
I live in Spain and here the MOT is geting stupid.... I have been told that my bike an RVF 400 wont pass the Mot because the exhaust has not the e-mark.. This bike was not sell here officialy so i cant find an exhaust homologated for her.
Here is where i need your help, could you, the ones that have an aftermarket can, send me a picture off your e-mark if any off you have it. Im looking for something like this:

I need to find wich number correspond to the nc35. On this pic the HA-93 is the one that determinates for wich bike is homologated.
Show me what you have, so i know what i need to find to past the test...
Thanks in advance

Re: I need help about exhaust!
Honestly, I dont think ANY exhaust is going to be E-marked.
The bike is a Japanese import.
Most, if not all aftermarket systems are either no for Road use or Japanese.
Micron springs to mind as they make make EU certified exhausts and they did make a system for the VFR, good place to start.
IF you have the stock system it shouldnt need an E mark as it will carry the manufactureres markings, this is due to some EEC regulation

Re: I need help about exhaust!
If that's a complete OEM system on your bike you don't need an E mark as Neo says. If it's aftermarket, just look for a new end can. As long as the inlet diameter is the same, any can will fit. Try contacting Fuel Exhausts or Micron for an end can, they both do them with removable baffles and can be E marked.
Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.
