Starlane GPS3x lap timer

Post by StrayAlien »

Hi all,

The lovely lady in my life bought me the above lap timer for my birthday. Yes, I can hear some of you all spewing with envy - the girl is motorsport crazy. Bless her little Spanish cotton socks.

But ... anybody used one?

- Do they get good GPS signal when mounted at the dash area?
- Do they support USB drives larger than 2gb? (I have read otherwise and their techy support hasn't answered)
- Anybody hooked the RPM sensor in (or anything else - suspension?)
- is their analysis software any good?
- ....anything else .. ?

Cheers.

Greg.

NO idea..but I use a separate GPS pickup on my yoke and racechrono on my phone. The GPS signal is fine.

Thanks, but I already have that type of set up. TrackMaster app on Android with a QStartz external blutooth GPS unit - but I have found it not to be that great.

Specifically I was looking to see if anybody had any experience with the GPS3x.

you might want to go and have a mooch about on motoforum - that place will have some racing types that have that system.
