Re: nc30 thermostat
It's pretty common among the Honda range from what I found when I needed one, but I'm pretty sure you won't find an aftermarket one. I was lucky to find a new Honda one on evilbay going for half price, so I snapped it up thinking mine was iffy (which it was). Unfortunately you'll have to wait for a cheapie, take a punt on one from a breaker, or bite the bullet and pay what's being asked by Honda. And no, a car one won't fit, they're about two or three times the diameter!

Re: nc30 thermostat
There are three 30 and one 35 thermostat housings up for sale on eBay. It seems illogical that the seller would remove the stat before selling. However, the condition of the stat will be unknown....

Re: nc30 thermostat
Graeme France will sort you out, I recently bought a housing off him without the stat, so I know he's got one, will be tested and probably cheaper than DS

Re: nc30 thermostat
I used a car one in me fzr (as a stop gap tho its been in there for four years now!), cant remember what is was supposed to be for, just filled it down a few mm untill it was the same o.d. as the original one. Think it was only 4 quid. Just make sure its the same operating temp as the honda one (prob about 85degrees).
Cheers
