small hole below exhaust headers
Hi guys another quick question. Whilst trying to start my bike this morning I noticed I had a lack of fuel getting to the cylinders. So I tried putting a little down the plug hole and it just came straight out of a small hole just below the exhaust headers? ?
Is this right? And what is the purpose of this hole?

Re: small hole below exhaust headers
Mate, DO NOT put neat fuel down the spark plug hole.
The fuel going in from the carbs is atomized.
The fuel you put in will simply wash the bores clean of oil and fuck the motor.
The hole is so rain water that gets around the plugs can run off.

Cool thanks for the advise, its a relief that those holes are meant to be open.... just struggling to get fuel to the cylinder on starting.... got some o rings on the way so I'll check the jets and float height at the same time.
