Master cylinder identity??
Hi all just about to order a repair kit for my front master cylinder, all the kits listed for the nc30 are 12.70mm OD. But my road bike one is stamped 5/8. And this one is stamped 14? Any ideas ?

14mm is std NC30 m/c size
5/8 is better used on the lager Nissin calipers, or the brembos
not sure where the 12.7 is - I have not replaced these seals on my bike, which is a surprise to me.lol

Re: Master cylinder identity??
Looking at the dimensions listed here, I wonder if it's actually the diameter of piston? You'd need some clearance between the piston and the bore to allow for the seal....

Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.
