How do i remove my battery?
Hi guys, I have a GK76a and basically I am trying to change my battery. i know it sounds simple but i think im just being silly. I have removed the seat, the leads on the battery, the strap and two screws that go from a plastic kind of bracket into the frame but the bar which secures the petrol tank down by the front of the seat seem to be in the way a teeny bit. I'd really appreciate a step by step idiots guide telling me what to do right from the beginning to se where ive gone wrong.
thanks guys :)
Callum

Re: How do i remove my battery?
Haha mine is far from mint. mostly from when i got got it but still. thanks for the guide its really helpful ill try it now :) seems strange that hey designed it in such a way. ah well thanks again ill let you know how i get on :)
UPDATE: Done what you suggested, it worked a treat i got my battery out. i think that I lost a small wire that was on the negative terminal as its fallen away or something. not sure if it was important or if im mistaken. ive also lost the two small square kind of nuts to hold the screw into the terminal, will need to see if the local mechanic has any spares. going to buy a new one as this ones knackered and not retaining charge i dont think. any brand suggestions. found a cheap one called ultramax but wondering if they are worth the cheap price or not?
