3tj exup cables.

Post by damhorg81 »

evening all, was wondering if anyone can help. Im looking for the close cable for the exup part number 3tj-1133f -01.this part is now listed as unavailable. is there an alternative part available? the yzf750 has the same part number except the model prefix at the start is different. any ideas? thanks in advance.

You can try to recore it - try a bicycle shop and get a solderless nipple to fit at the exhaust end.

the alternative is to get a similar thing from Venhill. I sent them my cable (thinking they'd solder it) and they charged me £20 to recore and send it back.

Obviously lengths will differ but these may be taken from existing cable,
Here is a very good online source of inners and 5.5mm nipples.

IICR it cost about £6 for enough materials to re-inner four cables.
