Yesterday I had to go and do a job for the Mrs which was really just waiting in a flat for a new washing machine ... the slot was "AM" between 0900 & 1430, they arrived at 1400, which meant I missed picking up some bits (an exup cable) and by the time I got to the garage it was gone 4pm. I messed about doing the small jobs, cleaned up + fitted the pillion pegs, took the rubber off the riders pegs, put the oil and coolant in.

I wiped off the front mudgaurd, which looked a bit sorry for itself

I've seen this before, it's where the bit has got wet and the water dries on building up over time. I could have used a polish but I thought I'd give it a go with some MrMuscle shower cleaning gel, and it took all the crap of it :o 8-)

This morning I'm waiting in again, this time it's a sparks checking our flat, so I used a bit of Scratch / Swirl remover on a wet spong to finish the job.

Ordered some "yamaha" stickers for the rear panels too.

so I'm kinda onto the plastics, time to choose

Now a little warning: I just kinda knicked myself getting some stickers off the tail fairings, the 3TJ red is almost an exact match for blood ... the unoxygenated type from my thumb anyway ... careful with those razor blades

They're the dark red / white on this bike but I've kinda attracted a lot of panels over the years
