Exhaust studs NC31
Hi does anyone know the stock length of the NC31 exhaust studs, took my exhaust off today and managed to snap 2 of them an the rest seem to be odd lengths as well as rusting up with a few on the bent side so I want to make some more but can't seem to find the measurements for them.

Re: Exhaust studs NC31
I'd just get OE studs. I've put third party studs in before to save a fiver, and found that half of them rounded off when tightening the exhaust down, some more came off trying to get them back out, and this resulted in removing the engine, taking it to a specialist and an £80 labour bill to get the all taken back out again.
You could do the stainless studding and brass nuts trick, but IMHO just stick with stock.
To actually answer your question - get bits the same as any you have that are the right length. Or, if it's the same as a CB-1 (should be) then it's this, and they're so cheap I wouldn't bother trying to save the pennies:

OE nuts cost rather more but are a nice finishing touch...

Re: Exhaust studs NC31
Thanks for the reply, made some replacement studs the other day out of marine grade steel though had to stick a coil in one of the holes as the old stud had nackard the thread.
