Re: Fuel problem help needed
Its gravity fed so make sure the fuel pipes sit right, i put an inline filter on once and it raised the pipe a little so reserve came on earlier.
Dont foregt, the full mark of erm 15 litres I think it holds is not full to the super top.
Easiest way to check if your parnoid is to take the tank off, drain it out and fill it with a measuring just to test.
Oh finall, when you next hit reserve shine a torch into the tank and you will see the fuel filter
You might be able to see the two distioctions between reserve and on.. if the fuel is above the reserve line then theres a problem, if not its ok.

Re: Fuel problem help needed
Thanks for all the replies guys. I'll lift the tanks and check the lines and also have a look in the tank when it next gets down to reserve. Sounds an easy enough fix and no real problem. I think a kinked pipe sounds spot on with it being gravity fed.
Thanks all.

Thanks all.

Re: Fuel problem help needed
Sounds almost identical to the figures I usually get. Yesterday, I stuck 12.92 litres in, but I'd done about 20kms after hitting reserve, at almost exactly the same figure you got.
