hi, sorry guys but i was wonderin since u guys talk so highly of Rick Oliver, how come he recommends cutting away the front flap? just wondering.

Bottom line it all comes down to wether the bike likes it or not,

I have no flap at all on my bike.

ok, gonna cut mine off as my mechanic recommended i put 128 jets and now its running very rich and wont pull thru the revs, hopefully this will balance it out? i really dont wanna take the carbs off again to change sizes, was a UBER bitch to GET BACK ON

Get a hoover tube and run it from under the yokes directly into your airbox

Ive got a pipe i got made which i was gonna use but from what ive read here that makes the bike run bad, i guess with 128's i dont have much choice. what do u recommend i set the pilot screws to? and how do i get to them while on the bike , they are on the inside. they are set to 3 turns out , thanks
