Nc30 exhaust options.....
Hi, my newly acquired uk spec '30 has, what I have been told by the seller, a full Titanium Tyga system with moto maggot can & jetted to suit.....
I am thinking about putting the bike to standard or standardish.
How much ho the Tyga/maggot full systems go for new & used (it looks mint)?
Is it really Titanium? how can I tell - it looks like stainless to me.....
What are my chances of getting a good, unbutchered used oe system & what could I expect to pay?
While I like the sound of the unsilenced v4, I like the refinement of a standardish system more
Thanks all, Pip

Re: Nc30 exhaust options.....
Don't think I've ever heard of a titanium Tyga exhaust.....
Not sure on resale price.
As for original untouched systems, they often aren't cheap on the bay, but someone else on here might have one they don't want rip off money for.

Cheers bud, don't want to post a wanted ad yet as I want to get a feel of the bike as it is before I start changing stuff.
I guess it's just plain old ss then

Tyga dont to Ti, i guess they may have as a special but its not listed or habe i ever known one too be.
New price about £700 mark second hand £450-550 dependant on system the maggot is probably the least desired exhaust can as it looks and sounds shite.

Cheers, the moto maggot isn't fitted as it has a trioval (?) Stainless carbon can co "silencer" fitted - if silencer os the right term
The system is certainly a thing of beauty though :-)

plenty of stock systems about dont expect them to be mint, most usually require new collars as the originals are mild steel and rot.

Re: Nc30 exhaust options.....
buggar new old stock unless it is some epic restore / build a new old stock bike.
I got a second hand but spotless full NC30 original system, including stbby manifold from Japan for 65gbp. It is like it was never used.. not a trace or rust or any scratch anywhere.
even the stubby manifold is pristine, which id never seen before.
Shop around and you can get a decent original system cheap.
bear in mind though, maggot can is stupidly loud.
unless you really want original my recommendation would be for a decent half system that doesnt cost the eatrh.. ie yamamoto.
My bike is jetted 118/120.
With the stock system there is no go in the bike at all, it runs fine but doesnt pull half as good as with a half system / end can.

Re: Nc30 exhaust options.....
Ahh, thats the kind of info that I was after, thanks Neo.
I liked the sound & feel of the bike running stock system, I'm not racing or doing trackdays so outright performance isn't an issue.
The system has a ss race can & is a bit noisy for me.
I'm not after a show bike or restoration project, just a nice clean, sweet running '30 :)
Neo, would you sell the stock system?
My bike came with mint, hardly used collectors but it has been cut & had some lugs ground off & no headers or rear manifold......
