inlet restriction
Are the inlets restricted on the nc29 type 8 models? In the model specs it mentions it.

Yes. As long as your inlet rubbers are marked 94 (type 7&8) there is a chance that the metal restrictors are still in place. Just remove carbs and pull em out of the inlet rubbers with some pliers. But be aware that some bikes may have 33bhp restrictors in the same place.
