Re: R6 shocks!
a 2006 R6 shock will fit( not sure which years either side of that are the same, but some are) providing you get the adaptor bracket for the bottom mount as the R6 shock is about 24mm to short, or change the dog bones, but the adaptor is the easiest option, have a word with kayal on here she can knock you up either adaptor or dog bones, that's if you can't find a shock that's already adapted on the bay they come up every so often
if you go for it you might wanna put the black spring on it as the standard R6 red jobbie is a bit stiff for the road

Re: R6 shocks!
ZX6R F model shock has the right fittings

Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.

Re: R6 shocks!
You want the later model R6 shock with the red spring.
Early RWU forks will fit but they stick out through the top yoke a long way and I think they touch the mirror brace. That might be ok for a race or track only bike but not good for a road bike. You're better off sorting out the original forks with some new springs and experiment with the spacer length / oil weight, or give them to a suspension company to do.
