Re: Oh ffs, I think my rear wheel bearing is knackered !
the needle bearing is a 50x62x25mm and the dust seal is a 50x62x5mm (one of),
the other is (6908 2RS) 40x62x12mm you want two of these and one seal at 40x62x5
make sure to keep the joining seal off the old 40x62x12s unless the bearing supplier can get them,
you will also need to pop out the plastic cover on one side of each of them so you can join them together with ther joining seal if that makes sense....
hope that helps

Re: Oh ffs, I think my rear wheel bearing is knackered !
Last night a mate called up and we set about stripping an rvf swing arm that I got the lend of so I could borrow the hub until I could get mine repaired or replaced.
I grabbed the rear wheel to show him the play in the hub but because he was on the exhaust side he was able to tell me the WHOLE swing arm was moving in the frame. It turns out the castlenut had become loose and the arm was pivoting in the frame.
We loosened everything off then tightened it all back up correctly and it appears to have sorted the movement. Result !
Cheers for the help guys

What luck! How pissed would you have been if you would have done the bearing and the problem wasn't fixed?!
