Quality decals??
Hi,
I'm looking for a reputable company to supply me with some quality decals to finish the paint job on my bike. Any recommendations?? Was gonna go with 'Image works' but just read some bad reviews....
I live in Bristol so if its local that would be a bonus!
Any help appreciated :D
Cheers
Tim

Re: Quality decals??

we where happy enough with the quality of the stickers and the guy fitting them was also,he did say they weren't as thick as honda ones but then again they aren't the price of honda ones.

Re: Quality decals??
i was too recomended to use Image works but so far I am extremely unimpressed with them
firstly it took me 2 weeks are 5 phone calls to actually ge them to take my order, each time i was quoted a different price and told I would be called back within a hour (never got a single call)
then when the graphics arrived they have mess up the wite number boards I wanted for the tail, instead sending me a red outline (that I told them was already painted on) so they sent me a new set of number boards but when i recieved them they were for an nc35 (completely the wrong shape) and they took almost 2 weeks to turn up, then they said they would sent me a correct set, these turned up a week later and were the right sahpe but were the same size as the original red boards when i said i would like smaller ones to fit inside the red ones.
as well as this my painter has been fitting the other graphics this week and they all the wrong sizes, the honda for on the H piece dosnt fit inside the h piece, too big, the vrf logo that goes on the fairing is too big and only just fits on the fairing, as well as most other sticker being slightly too big
still the quality of the sticker is very good and i will be picking the bike up tonight as wil add some pictures to show asap, but they wernt cheep at £70
I think there good but not on custom (non common race rep) scheme's, although smevs bike looks great (mabe they just didnt like me

Re: Quality decals??
The Image works are ok - I too had few issues with them - they did take a while and one or two colours were wrong and sizes, but I contacted them , educated them in the error of their ways and got some replacement graphics sorted.
Its always difficult to sort/ arrange these type of things over the phone, and unless very precise they won't come out how you expect. A couple of mm here or there or wrong choice of font can make a scheme look very wrong.
Give them a go but be prepared and be patient!!

Re: Quality decals??
but you guys where getting custom stuff done.
for "off-the-shelf" decals which have been tried and tested they seem to do the job well!?!
