NC30/35 Power Loss with Ignitech Ignition - The Solution

what's the red boxop right of the pic,NO CONNECTION WITH PC.
Mine is showing this,is it normal.

Assuming that the unit is actually connected to your PC then that `No Connection` flag means that the box is not powered up - it needs to be on the bike with the ignition turned on in order to accept programming...

No it means the unit wont be down on power compared to a standard or HRC unit when its loaded with the relavent map, how you adjust the unit to suit a modified motor is down to you or the tuner.

Yeah what i meant was a reputable tuner of the vfr/rvf's here has spent hours and hours of dyno time and couldn't really find much, if any extra power, despite the state of tune, thus he advises most people to stick with the stocker.

I get a better mid range and feel using the ignitech over the standard ecu on my setting...everything is more crisp etc. and you can go to higher revs but top end was down on standard...now you can set the unit up for better results at lower revs and not loose anything up top either! Makes it worth while.....before there was no point getting one really as any thing you gained was lost up top....

But that was before the fix, id put money on it now that a good tuner could make more power up top on a modified motor now the issue has been addressed.
