you don't have to "strip" them to get a look at the main jets. Stop putting it off..it is an easy job, 2hrs all in and that is if you struggle getting them on and off!

Advice from me - get the bike warmed up before you pull them off - turn the fuel tap off and it will drink the fuel out the carbs. Then take them off, turn tem over, remove the float bowl cases and have a look at the jets. swap them out if you need to, put it back together, fit back to engine on your nice and warm rubbers.

Im not putting it off lol, just gotta choose a good time to do it. I took the bike for a run tonight, about 18 miles and tbh with you, i didnt really seem to flat spot. The bike seemed well tonight, im still going to take the carbs off and investigate the jets to see what shes running, if i find standard jets in, would you still recommend fitting slightly larger jets mate, obviously depending on what its got in.

Carb removal/fitting is one of those jobs that takes ages the first time you do it, but after a few times it becomes easy.
