Is it possible to put the fork cartridges from an late model NC30 into cbr400 Rrl nc29 forks to bring them up to later spec??

Re: Fork cartridges
R-model NC29s have cartridge forks - probably hard to get hold of though.

Re: Fork cartridges
There is a guy here in Aus who was selling an NC29 with R6 cartridges. He had the later model cartridge forks for the 29, obviously. I'd suspect that if it were possible to put any sort of cartridge into a modifed 23/29 damping rod fork, it would have been done by Graeme France by now. But - I think I read/heard somewhere that you can use NC30 uppers on NC29 lowers to make a cartridge fork for the 29. We don't do that here in Aus, the racing rules are pretty clear that you can only modify the internals of your standard forks.dunkenb wrote:Is it possible to put the fork cartridges from an late model NC30 into cbr400 Rrl nc29 forks to bring them up to later spec??

Re: Fork cartridges
They are basically the same cartridges off of the CBR600 F3.
