You mean RVF400RT and RVF400RR? Nothing apart from paint I believe.

It's the standard Honda naming convention applied to all the bikes of the range during each year (im very sleepy tongiht so it wont' be complete but you'll get the idea)
1986: NC21: VFR400R (G)
1987: NC24: VFR400R (H)
1987: NC24: VFR400R (H-II)
1988: NC24: VFR400R (J-III)
1989: NC30: VFR400R (K)
1990: NC30: VFR400R (L)
1991: NC30: VFR400R (M)
1993: NC35: RVF400R (R)
1993: NC35: RVF400R (R-II)
1994: NC35: RVF400R (T)
1994: NC35: RVF400R (T-II)
I can't remember off hand what the -II / -III suffix's are, I think just a different paint scheme?
The Letter is the year of mfg.

Re: rvf model info
so does that mean there are two rr scheme's and two rt schemes with some suttle differences that go largely un-noticed?Neosophist wrote:I can't remember off hand what the -II / -III suffix's are, I think just a different paint scheme.
