gsf 400 lights switch

hi all, ive got a 1993 gsf bandit bandit 400 slingshot.. the import model i believe.. question is the front headlight comes on when i turn the key and stays on, but i was wondering if there was a way to get a switch installed that would turn the light off when the bike is running.. would this be possible ? cheers

The right hand switchgear has a little switch on it that allows you to have them off (far right), parking lights (centre) or fully on (far left).

not on my bike unfortunately.. would it work if i got one from another bike and stuck it on ??

It will only work if the loom plug has all the wires.
Seems from a certain year on they converted to lights on only.
