i'm not sure about the suzuka covers mate.Deviant400 wrote:what about tyga suzuka covers , i got a spare for e template
ive seen a few different shapes of cover from the shape i have to a more square shape to a round shape with a bit off the side, like a tear drop sort of thing that has a clip on itwallie_555 wrote: Id be interested in some clear ones for MOT use, but would definitely put my name down for some in the acid green as that is the proper endurance look. Unfortunately i don't have any original covers to lend. What differences are there between the silhouette units then?
"porndoguk" im intrrested in some amber silhouete shape ones for a standard 30 fairing, amber are the only legal colour you can use on the road and also the same as the 1991 seed suzuka bike :D
i cant speak for sam about what colours he can get his hands on but i'm sure he'll be along shortly. and amber does sound good....

didn't rick offer these at one stage.jim157 wrote:Good work, always nice to see an affordable alternative. Now if someone could start knocking up Silhouette style fairings for a fraction of the price they'd be onto a winner.

where my idea to sam was if they were clear they wouldn't need to be removed, and if sam could get his hands on different colours ,ie amber/acid green, would there be interest ?Smev wrote: I have solid white headlight covers on my standard oe fairing (round) I have put the race numbers on them from the replica paint scheme.
The bike has often looked over at bike meets, and by the odd policeman and nothing has been said as to it being legal or not - as they are removable, I obviously take them off in poor or dark light conditions.

Rick's endurance fairings are a fair bit different to the Silhouette ones. I think CMSMJ1's is an RO one?

I see- I think the two or three colours you've said about are the preferred options, and any more variations would make things difficult / Sam ending up with lots of 'stock'!

Id like the amber personally, as ive said amber are legal to use on the road, any other colour isn't apart from clear id take a clear and maybe a acid green too dependant on prices.Smev wrote:royster81 wrote:

I would like two amber and two acid green if it is feasable.
Great work from Sam by the way.

headlight covers, round and silhouette shapes.
What are silhouette fairings? please can someone explain the difference between them and standard bodywork? I've got an NC30 rebuild coming up and Id like to do it in Rothmans colours, the pics on jap4performance website show silhouette fairings with light covers on painted in Rothmans colours. in fact I've just emailed for prices.
