Rear wheel seized onto hub

Hi
Im trying to remove my rear wheel however it is stuck on fast to the hub. Any ideas on how I can remove the wheel?

rubber mallet, take it youv undone every thing.....
few taps at 3,6,9,12 should do it.

brute force mate, they can be a real pain in the ass to get off

A bit of wd40 onto the mating faces or if you can get to them on the spigots.

Take care not to get any on the disc or pads!!!

mine was stuck on good and proper and wouldn't come off with leverage or a 'hammer'. In the end I got a large bearing puller and machined up a reaction block for the center. I had to REALLY wind it in before it finally came off.
Gave it a good clean up with wet/dry and assembled with copper slip

if the wheels been painted or powder coated it is essential the inside edge is cleaned up before fitting or it will be stuck good style.
get a mate to help and as has been said before block of wood, lump hammer and keep rotating it when hitting

Or failing that get the garage to do it. I found out mine was like that a couple of years ago when it had a puncture&they replaced the tyre.

Hi go to page 5 of my posts and make up said tool .easy to make.before you refit wheel clean mating surfaces and apply copperslip,jobs a good un.
