BAD STARTING
Hi ive got a fzr 400 exup with a starting fault.the bike been parked up for 18 months,i put fresh fuel in drained the carbs, fuel pump is working but the only way i can get it to fire is with a spray of easy start.once running its fine ticks over revs up fine.i can turn it off and it will fire up again fine,if i leave it for a day i got the same fault again
can anyone help

If you aren't already doing it try turning the fuel tap to the 'off' position when not in use and see if that helps.

You could try some new plugs as they go off over time when sat in a damp motor.

Clean the carbs, renew the fuel filter and plugs - if it doesn't help then it's probably the valve clearances need doing.
