There is also clutch adjustment for the push rod that runs to the clutch behind rubber gromet on the front sprocket cover (not to sure on correct adjustment but on mine backed off the screw an thightend up untill just felt pressure) also on mine clutch basket had notches worn into it and the plates couldnt slide correctly . sorted that with a big file. Ahh thanks for the extra advice mate! i've tried adjusting the one which goes into the sprocket cover aswell as the one by the lever to no avail again! i think i'll call it a day and just get new clutch plates, there reasonably cheap so i might aswell and that should narrow it down further too!panda wrote:There is also clutch adjustment for the push rod that runs to the clutch behind rubber gromet on the front sprocket cover (not to sure on correct adjustment but on mine backed off the screw an thightend up untill just felt pressure) also on mine clutch basket had notches worn into it and the plates couldnt slide correctly . sorted that with a big file. Re: Possible clutch issue?
hi guys ,after riding the bike for last week i noticed the clutch is very heavy ,upon investigation i found the cable is stiff ,no trouble i can oil it or buy a new one of wemoto ,but second thing i found that im stuck at now is the mech inside sprocket cover case , its very wobbley and looks like there is a bearing in the ,but it looks like its fallen to peices , if it is a bearing in there does anyone know where i can buy ? iv looked on ebay amd wemoto but no joy , at moment im using bike for work as supermoto is off the road and i need to fix it as soon as possible cheers !
