Sparkley powder coating!!

Post by spooky »

Oooohhh!!! I was at my local sand blasters today and met a guy from a powder coating company who was getting some race car wheels cleaned.
He had a rocker cover of a vtec honda car engine on the front seat of his car which he had powder coated in dark grey with shiny speckles all through it.Really tough powder coating it is too.
It looked so cool. 8-)
Anyway we got talking and I asked him if he could do my metal brackets that I had just got blasted (glass bead)clean. Yea, sure no problem he says. Cheap too, as he has some powder left over from a previous job. So all me brackets are now getting the sparkley treatment OOOHHH!!! Can't wait.
Will post some pics when I get them next week.

Sounds like the same coating I had my fork bottoms done in.....its called Metallic [insert colour here]

I'm sure your metal brakets will look so good you'll want other bits doing incl your head & engine covers

This is where i got mine done.....in 2 years since then there's no chips anywhere and that includes the fork bottoms which are usually prone to a few chips

Sorry mate these are not triple-s work. These are from AIC. in Carryduff, N.Ireland. Advanced Industrial Coatings.
If you read the first post you will see they had powder left over from a previous job, this was from a contract they had in Dubai.
Jonathan Webb is the manager. He said I could recommend him on this site. Check out their web page for details. 8-)
