RVF luggage options

Post by Tam55 »

I had noticed that Ventura have a rack listed for the NC30 but not the NC35. Now I know that the 30 and 35's subframes are different but without seeing the pair of them side by side I don't know how different. Does anyone know how the Ventura system mounts up to the NC30 and whether or not it can be modified (without major rewelding work ) to fit the NC35?

If not I'm guessing it's back to the trusty soft panniers and maybe a tailpack.

i used a spare pillion seat, and attached a whoppa bag to the seat itself, only around 35l so not huge but with the tank bag i got just about everything needed in

Ok cool thanjs fir your reply. I thought as much the bines are so similar yet so different at the sane time. I might just get myself a knackered pillion seat and fabricate a plate or something to bolt on to it, just to give me a flatter surface and more tie down points for loading a tent and camping bits on to.

Has anyone any experience of using a tank bag on a NC35?

Any recommendations? Probably wont be used that much, hoping for something that would hold pair of shoes and disc lock.

Dont want the tailpack option as I have a fragile tail piece.

I think the Ventura would fit no bother, the under trays are nearly the same and can swap about the subframes so I think it would fit no problem.
I have a Ventura and an rvf but no time to test it

Pm me your address and I'll send it to you, i can't see me wanting to sell it as I wanted it to use the next time I come over but if your planning a trip on a 400 and want to use it go for it.
