Can we confirm whether this is just a problem with the older V75 units or does the V80 give the same kind of results?

Rick
How would you identify one from the other, the one i have has no markings on it.

The software version of tcip4 will say it, they also have different versions of the programs and they dont work with each other, when did you buy yours.

I have one fitted still - it has a related version of what became the HRC map - the two traces are back to back runs.

The Ignitech was 2bhp down and the lines are basically the same. I do/did feel a better engine response with it though - crisp.

i would imagin you have the older one then,

i think from the know problems it would be safe to assume its the newer ones (v80) effected?

so everyone seems to have the same results, if it has better response wouldnt it show on the graph as more power .

Update -

With help from a couple of fellow 400gb members we have arrived at the solution to the missing top end power issue with Ignitech ignition units.

I`ll put up a new thread with a full explanation over the weekend and also get an emailable package together containing a DIY fix for anyone who needs it...

Does this apply to both 30 + 35?
