Well..ZOMBIE

As I have not had anything other than zero motivation to sort this motor out..and the knackered one is still in the frame..err..there is not a huge amount to report.

Apart from the fact that I collected a cheap motor yesterday and will be cleaning it and seeing if it works. I've had nasty man flu (is there any other kind) this last week and so no movement.

I will try to make some sensible pics and updates - Am going to refresh my forks, lap some valves, dremel some flashing, swap out and back in my GSXR genny and pukka clutch. If I am feeling the uver skills...then a drilling of the oil cooler blanks might well take effect and I'll try to fit an NC24 oil pump and see if I can get that working.

This all in the next "while".... I am happy about it though, if this engine doesn;t work, I'll pay the proper fee and get one I know works from a man I trust, Geoff.

Bring on the rebirth....

Word up..
well, it has taken me a while to be arsed sorting this out.

Bike looked like this at lunchtime today

Had the pooch giving me a paw and some company in the garage

Where the magic happens..

Now sorted..no motor

I am a cheesy cheese merchant, I know that much

This is the donor - it was cheap. I have no idea whether it works

So, the plan is to fit that motor tomorrow and get it running if at all possible. If it works..then I'l run it for a month or so and make sure we have a working motor.

In the meantime, I will build up the spare chassis I have and send the V5 off for the frame/reg swap. Once that is ready then we'll be looking at another bit of ramp time and get the motor swapping technique sorted.

I've enjoyed working on my bike today, it is fecking tiny. You do forget how small NC30s actually are and how bloody marvellous they are all told.

Rock on No9...hope to be riding it
