G-Force in Cycle World Article

Post by Cru Jones »

In the latest Cycle World there's a nice little article on G-Force with a nice picture of one of their bikes. I'll try to upload pics of it later today.

Get out! Awesome! These 400s don't get a lot of attention in the USA.

Hey Steve (vfrman), you didn't ride this bike. You rode Lohmeyer's 400cc VFR which was about 73hp. This is Elrod's 450, which is an RVF. Completely different beasts...but born from the same Father :-)

Glad you guys like the article. Much more good stuff to come.

Thanks for the correction Mike.... I was so over the moon to ride Michael's bike at MMP that the whole experience was quite a dream. Michael was trailing me on another NC30 and I never got too far ahead of him. Needless to say I was riding "sensibly" as I couldn't stand the idea of wrecking such a lovely machine.

At any rate I thought these two bikes were the same... my mistake. :)

@ Steve! No big deal. The guys leading the development have changed a few times over the years. The bikes have changed many times over the years. But, they all seem to revolve around me. bighug

@ Indiana Jones: Yes, Dave Moss is riding one of our bikes. In fact, he is riding MY old bike. The bike that started out life as a mixture of VFR and RVF, and has been converted to a 428 http://mngforce.typepad.com/nc450vdev/n ... motor.html. The bike swapped hands from me to Bob to Dave. But, Dave used the bike to win the 2011 450cc Class Championship. ;)

BTW, the Cycle World article has been posted online. Here's the link:
