Re: vfr pistons in nc29
I think they will fit. I was entertaining the thought of putting 29 pistons in my 30, but never did it. I know for a fact that the valves won't fit.

Re: vfr pistons in nc29
I saw one guy fitted rvf pistons to NC23 for better compression. Not sure about NC29. I wrote Mike from G-Force and he responsed that he can made 55mm bore with compression 13.5:1 ( against 11.5:1 in stock bore.)

Re: vfr pistons in nc29
yeah, its kinda what im looking for but aparently the exhaust valves just touch the vfr piston but i wasn't 100%, need some more info about the clearences. also hp gains?
its either i stick with the cbr for next season do a few performance mods and suspension work to try and compete with the zxr's hp or buy a zxr throw a ram air kit on it and work the suspension. im not looking for a hp monster that i can just power around people down the straight just enough to level the playing field.

Re: vfr pistons in nc29
as far as I am aware the last of the 29s came with RVF pistons as standard.
I have RVF pistons in mine and also a skimmed head but thats all I can tell you...I didnt build the engine but it goes well.

ok thanks, so there must be a bit of clearence to spare if you got the head skimmed. unless they modified the piston crown.
and is it deffinently RVF pistons instead of VFR?
thanks.
any kinda hp gain?
