ENGINE CLEANING
Hi guys, i am in the process of cleaning my engine down but to be honest its soul destroying with a wire brush
anyone got any tips for speeding this job up, i was looking at some alloybright on ebay anyone used it ?? cheers 2SPH

Dremmel with appropraite attachment?

i have just tried my dremel but the wire brush bits are used up in a matter of minutes, there not really upto the job unfortunately. id need an endless supply to do the whole engine

Cleaning it down ???
I use paraffin and work it in with a small paintbrush a 1/4" lining brush. Then use soap and water to get that off

Soda blasting is ment to be very good and gives a matt factory finish, obviously it will cost a few quid.
