Re: Faring has arrived
Thanks monkey, I didn't realise that villamotor where the ones on ebay, thought they where a UK company.
More questions for you regarding the fairings, when they arrived did you get any import/delivery or VAT added to the price you paid on ebay? Do the fairings include any of that spongy padding you get on the original fairings? Quality of the fairings and paintwork look good in the photos but how do they compare with the originals? Do they look as though they will stand up to daily use?

Re: Faring has arrived
yeah i had to pay VAT = £28.41
no they dont include any sponge, honda no longer supply this for the nc29, thou you can buy some im sure and cut to size if required, yeah i was really pleased with it, obviously its not as thick as OEM its ABS plastic, but for a custom paint job and my plastics had to be produced to order i was very happy with them. the decals are transfers, (like on my oem panels) the paint work is good and accurate to the many pictures i supplied, all lugs are there, some bits are going to need to be cut ground to allow for infills and stuff like that as the plastics arnt drilled for the fittings but this is good as it will alow for easy fitting. ( some fairing holes are belly pan, rear fairing where allen bolts go and two on the front for screen)

Re: Faring has arrived (update 16/09/08)
monkey: I really hope you have kept your original Honda Fairings..because although Villa motor does a good job of painting their fairings and making them look good, they really are a little thin in some area's as you would have noticed and will crack over time in certain area's..and when this does happen you will probably be kicking yourself wishing you had just gotten your OEM fairings repainted professionally for the money you paid to buy those.
On a side note! be prepared for a bit of fiddling to make then fit and align correctly with the bolt holes and mounts! i've had to fit a few of these kits now and although they look okay when fitted they are a real pain in the arse to line up and make them fit/sit correctly and you might need to enlarge/redrill some of the mounting holes, but anyways goodluck and post some pics when ya get it all mounted up. :)
P.s Dont overtighten the Headlight fairing as that is one area that will crack! use some blue loctite on the bolt if you are worried about it coming loose but dont overtighten! same for bellypans and tail unit.

Re: Faring has arrived (update 16/09/08)
cheers Adio, yeah had to grind some lugs and fittings, was a bit of a pain to fit, now all that is left is riveting the new fixtures to the front mud guad, then ill put up some pics. still got oem panels but there smashed to pieces, hence buying this kit.
