no spark
ok heres one for all you elastictrickery gurus out there, Gk71f no spark to pots number 1 and 4, took the coil off tested it and had all the same readings as the working coil. 12volts coming in through the orange wire (connected to the top connector) and brand new spark plugs. When i connected the white wire from the other coil i got a spark so where does the white wire go, what is it connected to, how do i test it and how do i fix it
thanks for your time guys aj

Re: no spark
Looking at the wiring diagram I have for a GK71 there should not be an orange wire to either coil, each coil should have a orange/white wire then one coil has a white wire and the other coil a black/yellow wire.
Both the white and the black/yellow should go straight to your CDI so check to see if these colours are present at the CDI (there should not be an orange wire at the CDI according to my manual, if there is then my colours are probably wrong!)
Hope this is some use.
