Okay, another gimmick I like is....an RVF two stroked powered with an NS400R engineDrunkn Munky wrote:An electric RVFmicpec wrote:Great Food for Thought, guys!Have a contact who offers various bike spares as it his living and that is including multiple VFR750/800 engines for approx. 350 to 500 euro each. But I just watched some race of the eTTXGP..keeps me thinking of an electric powered RVF...
Please god no
The race series is cool for development but as a serious road bike i couldnt think of anything worse, i just couldnt get excited riding one the noise of a mechanical engine is half the enjoyment for me. They've killed off 2 strokes tho so evolution says were next

@Tony, well, the future is now
...Honda Corp. build the new generation RC bike with....indeed an Electric powered engine! (Expected at Tokyo Motorshow, possible it is an compact electric powertrain footprint of an similar 600cc performance engine into 250cc frame, Ohlins TTX suspension, and maybe more?)...

Get me back into some thoughts about an RVF-e / NC35-e
PS: sorry from me to Rick to hijack this thread.

Yeah, I saw the bike that day and just presumed is was modified RC30. Then, having just started using this website, read the 1st page of this thread and recognised the it straight away!
It was definitely the bike then! Lovely thing!
