Re: Newbie Help needed {again!}
Well ive finally wired it all up {hopefully} just about put the fuel tank on and i have noticed that there are two smaller taps {i think there suction taps} by the fuel tap, could someone tell me what they attach to ?
{i think one goes to the side of the engine}
Cheers Chris

Re: Newbie Help needed {again!}
Additional : after reading "NC24 Fuel tap, where does vacuum go" post , i connected up the vacuum hose {the hose that goes to the rear left cylinder} to the tap that faces down{forwards in my case} tried firing her up for the first time, the carb slides weren't moving and it was spitting out petrol from the other small tap above the fuel tap!
also i just wanted to check if i had wired the ignition coils right? they have a green and black spade coming out of them, ive hooked up all black/white wires to the black spade and all coloured wires to the green spade on each coil, Is this right?

Yes! thats right, the coloured wire goes to the green tab on the coils, the coloured wire should aslo have the number of the cylinder on a tag if they are still there.
The vaccum pipe goes to whichever small pipe is on the outer-most side of of the tap.
J------n----u----
Imagine if the J is the on/off/res switch the n would be the small tap and the u the outermost tap where the vaccum pipe goes, since you can dissassemble the tap you can move the pipes around (so the outerpipe might not face down)
if you have fuel comming out of it it's leaking past the diagrphram which means there is either a hole in it or it's not been put togeather properly, eitherway you'll need to strip it to sort this problem out else it won't be letting fuel into the carbs.
Just to get the bike running, take the tank off, funnel in the pipe and use that as a temp fuel tank.
These bikes can be a right pain in the arse to get going!! Full choke, no throttle, crank it for 5 seconds, leave it for 2 mins for fuel to get thru and repeat till it fires, the gas it! (make sure the kill switch is the right way too ^_^
After a strip of mine i flattened the battery once before it fired.
As for the tank...
make sure it's set to "off" as your gonna be disaseembling tap. undo the 4 philips screws and the vaccumn / diaphram will come off, check it for holes and make sure it's back together properly.
