Jacked rear 3EN1 now stand too short- Ideas?
First of all, thanks Kayla for the jack up kit it looks much better and feels right for my lanky 6ft 2 frame
Problem I have now is when off the paddock stands and on the original stand the bike leans on an angle which is right over, I wouldnt feel comfortable leaving it. Any ideas on which sidestands are about an inch longer and should fit?
cheers Tony

Try an fzr600 3he... I had the wrong one on my Genesis and it was a tad to upright for my liking. It might be knocking around if you measure yours.

You'll need the return springs as well

Righty dokey, the TRX sidestand is 250mm, from the tip of the foot to the centre of the pivot, and the R1 sidestand is 15mm longer. I hope this helps!

Re: Jacked rear 3EN1 now stand too short- Ideas?
Hi all, and thanks for that info Kayla, i too measured mine from the centre of the pivot and it was 230mm and Im thinking that ive probably gained about 35mm in height with the jack up kit.
So I should need another 30-35 mm extra in the stand? This means that the R1 stand will probably be the best bet from Kayla's measurements.
Or Barryfzr would your Fzr600 stand be anywhere near 265mm by any chance?
cheers again for all your help guys n gal

just as a side note
have you taken into account that if the stand is longer (30-35mm) your going to have to fit some kind of bung to it to step it down from the swing arm or the chain will grind the bugger in 1/2
you'd probably be alright with a well adjusted chain but they don't stay well adjusted and don't forget there's more slack at the bottom under power than stationery
