Carb question
Hi I'm George From Greece
A friend of mine had just given me a gk76a
but with A K708 motor on it and with no carb onto it
I did a search in my old bandit-gsxr parts and i found these carbs that used to
work on a bandit 400
I want to rebuild them before i put them on the bike using
tha factory pro stage III kit but I'm not so sure about
If I'm getting the right kit
Can somebody help me out ???
thanks in advance

Re: Carb question
Factorypro do a stage3 kit for the bandit, dont think they ever did a kit for the 76a so if you get one it may or may not work. Bandit and 76a have different main jets so you may need to adjust the jetting.

Re: Carb question
Variablevalves suck thanks for the reply
My main problem is that the motor is not the genuine from the 76a
I searched the motor codes and it seems that the motor is from a gk73 attached to a gk76 chassis
so my concern is bassically if this carb i found is from a gk73 ?

Re: Carb question
Gk73a and bandit use the same carbs with slightly different jetting, im sure Andy used a stage 3 FP kit on his 73a with ok results. I'd be more concerned about the engine being fitted correctly as they use a completely different mounting system.
