std discs have alloys centres?
My what i believe are std front discs appear to have alloy centres, is this right? they've been painted a black with a brush so was considering having them blasted and then repainting with etch primer and then satin black, which I think is the correct colour for by Type 7.
Any thoughts?

Yes, they are alloy. Be careful with painting them, as the bobbins (those big rivety things) must have "float" in them to allow the disc to expand as it gets hot. It's possible as long as you mask carefully!
